Sally Hoyt, daughter of David Hoyt and Hannah Crissey, was born at Long Ridge, Connecticut, 18 September 1759.1 She died at New York, New York Co., New York, 3 March 1851,2 and was buried at Marble Cemetery on 2nd Street, New York, New York Co., New York.1

Sally married Jonathan Cowdrey, son of Jonathan Cowdrey and Jane Martin, 31 May 1781.1,3,4

Sally read without glasses up to age ninety, and wrote her granddaughter's husband, Robert Hall, a long letter a few days before her death. She was buried in Marble Cemetery on Second Street, New York.1
