Daniel Lascelles, son of Colonel Francis Lascelles and Frances St. Quintin, was born at Yorkshire, England, 6 November 1655,1,2 and later baptized at Sigston, Yorkshire, England.3 He died 5 September 1734,1,2 and was buried at North Allerton, Yorkshire, England.3

Daniel married (1) Margaret Metcalf, daughter of William Metcalf and Anna Marwood, at Northallerton, Yorkshire, England, 22 August 1672;1,2 he married (2), as her 2nd husband, Mary Lascelles, daughter of Edward Lascelles and Mary (---), at Church of St. Christopher-le-Stocks, London, England, 23 April 1702.1,2

He was justice of the peace, high sheriff of Yorkshire in 1719, and member of parliament for North Allerton.3
