Sir Theobald de Verdun, Knt., 1st Lord Verdun, son of Sir John de Verdun, Knt. and Margaret de Lacy, was born about 1248.1 He died at Alton, Staffordshire, England, 1 September 1309,1 and was buried at Croxden Abbey, Alton, Staffordshire, England.1

Theobald married Margery de Bohun, daughter of Sir Humphrey de Bohun, Knt. and Eleanor de Brewes, before 13 November 1276.1
